Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, resource requirements, and milestones.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential project constraints and challenges.
- Allocate resources effectively to support project activities, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Coordinate with department managers to ensure adequate staffing levels and resource availability.
- Monitor resource utilization throughout the project lifecycle, making adjustments as necessary to optimize efficiency.
- Lead project teams in executing project plans according to established timelines and quality standards.
- Conduct regular project meetings to review progress, address issues, and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Implement project management best practices to mitigate risks, resolve conflicts, and ensure adherence to project goals.
- Establish quality control measures to monitor and evaluate project deliverables for compliance with specifications and standards.
- Implement corrective actions as needed to address deviations from quality requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Develop project budgets in collaboration with finance and accounting teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial targets.
- Monitor project expenditures and track costs against budget allocations.Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project spending without compromising quality or performance.
- Maintain open and transparent communication channels with project stakeholders, including internal teams, customers, suppliers, and external partners.
- Provide regular project status updates, progress reports, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Address stakeholder concerns and inquiries promptly, seeking feedback to enhance project outcomes and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within the electrical manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Agile).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
