We are looking for Highly analytical and results-driven Business Controller to oversee financial planning, controlling, and reporting across key business areas, with main focus on OpEx (incl. personnel costs), production costs, inventory, and investments.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure planning, control, and reporting of OpEx, personnel costs, production costs, inventory, investments
Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports and provide insights on budget deviations with recommendations for optimization
Support budgeting, forecasting, and mid-term planning, ensuring alignment with financial targets
Analyze production performance (machine hourly rates definition, verifiying accuracy of production orders costing, etc.)
Identifies business critical related processes and propose process optimizations
Contributing to Board of Mangers / Directors documentation preparation and supporting strategic decision-making
Participate in financial and cross-functional projects, driving process improvements and business optimization initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in a financial controlling or business controlling role (experience in an industrial manufacturing company is a plus)
Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
Strong process oriented approach
Experience in cost accounting, production controlling, and inventory management is a strong plus
Excellent Excel skills mandatory; experience with financial analysis tools (e.g., Tagetik, Power BI, SQL) is a plus
Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 knowledge is a plus)
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with different stakeholders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership abilities and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Self-motivated and independent, with the ability to make informed decisions that align with organizational strategy.
Fluency in German and English is mandatory; knowledge of Italian is a plus
