Business Application Manager (a)
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Application Manager to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of our business applications portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business process analysis, project management, and technical expertise to driven innovation and efficiency through the effective use of technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resource requirements and milestones for implementation projects
- Change Management: Develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate user adoption of new ERP processes and technologies, including training programs, documentation, and support mechanisms
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and lessons learned, and communicate project progress and outcomes to relevant stakeholders
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, end-users, and external vendors, to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns
- Suppliers' management: Liaise with ERP vendors and third-party service providers to negotiate contracts, evaluate solutions, and ensure compliance with project requirements and service level agreements. Plans and coordinates suppliers'activities.
- Budget control for IT Projects: Manages the budget for IT projects, tracks expenses, ensuring effective resource utilization and successful completion of projects within financial constraints
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address challenges to minimize disruptions
- Quality Assurance: Establish quality standards and perform regular assessments to ensure that systems meet functional requirements, performance targets, and user expectations
- Understands business needs and translates them into IT requirements
- Prioritizes the Business requests based on the business impacts
- Contract portfolio management
Qualifications and Skills
- Solid project management skills, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and budget control.
- Knowledge of agile and traditional project management methodologies, with the ability to adapt approaches based on project requirements and constraints.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes, develop solutions, navigate complex challenges, drive consensus among diverse stakeholder and drive continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with the following IT software/technologies: D365 FO, Power BI, cloud computing, security...Familiarity with the following business processes: Sales, Procurement, Production, Logistics, warehouse management and Finance in the manufacturing industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus, resolve conflicts, and motivate teams.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among project team members, promoting open communication, trust, and mutual respect.
- Experience with change management processes, including stakeholder engagement, training, and organizational readiness assessments.
- Proficiency in German and English, both written and verbal, Italian of benefit
